Options include operating from soft-fields (grass, sand, dirt, gravel, crop fields, etc) as well as off-airport operations. Courses are conducted within the capabilities and limitations of the aircraft and the operator.

Commercial Pilot Training

Ground and Flight Instruction

Description:  A VFR rating that is undoubtedly the most enjoyable and rewarding training you do as a pilot, whether you have an instrument rating or not, this is where you get to know you are the pilot in command.

This is where you learn the airplane - its systems, its performance capabilities, and its flight characteristics. You learn why the airplane does what it does in a given circumstance, you learn to trust it, and you learn to fly it! And, you learn your own limitations.

While flying you learn the feel of the airplane, you anticipate what the machine can and will do in a given environment, what you can and cannot do with it. You learn where the edge is - and how to operate the machine there, and then how to comfortably transition the aircraft from one configuration and environment to another, effortlessly, and most importantly, with total confidence.

When you know you are ready for your checkride, you will have felt and know the true joy of flight, the bonding of man and machine, and that you are the master of the winged beast.

Rate:  $800 per day, billed hourly. Hourly training available at $100 an hour.

Deposit:  A $250 scheduling deposit is required for all courses.  It is non-refundable.
